Workshop Structure

Day 1 (2 Hours)

Learn how to throw:

– A matcha bowl

– A matcha whisk holder

Day 2 (1 Hour – 2 weeks later)

Glaze your bisque-fired pieces using coloured glazes.

This workshop is thoughtfully designed with careful study of traditional and contemporary matcha bowl and whisk holder forms. We pay close attention to proportions, depth, and functionality — not just aesthetically pleasing, but made for real matcha moments.

Schedule

Saturday / Sunday

– 1st Session: 10:00am – 1:00pm

– (2 weeks later) 2nd Session: 11:00am – 12:00pm

Students must return after two weeks to complete the glazing session.

If you are unable to attend, the instructor will complete a single-colour glaze on your behalf.
